Here’s a little about Kevin Chau; Real Estate is one of the most important transactions of your life. It can be very stressful. I know Calgary and I love Calgary. I graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. I jumped right into the Oil & Gas Industry as a mineral landman (business negotiator for an exploration company). The oil patch has been great to me both personally and professionally. Personally, I’ve gained life-long friends, who are now my clients. Professionally, I owe my real estate successes to my previous career; I left the oil patch with a great understanding of Calgary, of business, and of teamwork and cooperation. I also understand how to identify and quantify opportunities and risks. I have a great negotiating mindset. I utilize these skills everyday for the benefit of my buyers and sellers. So, why after fourteen successful years in oil and gas, would I leave to enter real estate? In 2007, my world changed. My first child was born and the world was entering a major recession, I was downsized. After weeks of debate, I decided that my skill sets would be a great benefit to many friends that need to sell or buy a home. So, I jumped in, I got licenced and became a full time Realtor… I’ve never looked back. Real Estate makes the most of my skill set and personality and gives me the flexibility to enjoy time with my family.
